The Cleveland Charge got behind early against the Capital City Go-Go on Friday night as the Go-Go took a 63-52 halftime lead.

The Go-Go then went on a 18-0 run to start the second half as they went up 81-52 with 7:44 left in the third quarter.
The Charge fought back as they got to within nine points with 36 seconds left in the game at 116-107.
However, the Go-Go scored the final four points to make the final score 120-107.
For the game, the Charge had five players in double figures.
Leading the Charge was two-way Cleveland Cavaliers NBA player Emoni Bates who had 25 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist. So far this year, Bates has split time with the Charge and the Cavaliers. He has played 10 games in the NBA and 12 games in the G league.
In the G League, Bates, the 49th player chosen in the 2023 NBA draft, is averaging 21.7 points per game.

The Cleveland Charge will return to the court on Saturday as they will again host the Capital City Go-Go.
