Mentor OH- On Thursday evening, "The Nest" at Mentor High School saw their very own Cardinals who are rolling into the match 10-0 at home and 20-4 on the season. They hosted the 17-7 Riverside Beavers for a chance at regionals in the DIV I volleyball tournament.
Mentor was able to capture the victory, with a great all-around performance, the Cardinals finished the evening with 39 kills, 6 aces and 15 blocks defensively. Mentor wins their first District title since 2016. It's been a stellar year for the Cardinals all around. Undefeated (now 11-0) at home and finished an astounding 10-0 in GCC play. High hopes for Mentor as they advance to face St. Joseph Academy next Thursday. Here's my recap of the match.
