Hudson Explorers roll past Twinsburg 68-52

Twinsburg, Ohio- The Hudson Explorers have a very bright future ahead of them. Sophomore duo Nathan Judy and Jayden Carlton dominated Twinsburg tonight. The two combined for 49 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.

The last time Hudson and Twinsburg met was earlier this year was when Twinsburg got the best of them. This time, Hudson flipped the script and walked away with a 68-52 blowout win.

“I thought tonight our guys came out and played with a lot of effort and a lot of energy. We had really been working on putting four quarters together and tonight we did a good job with staying consistent,” said Hudson coach Michael Brown. “Hats off to our three seniors for leading us and I thought their effort and energy was great. Obviously the underclassman, Nathan Judy, had a great game and he followed suit.”

Judy led all scorers tonight with 31 points. He was a force to be reckoned with in the paint, going 14/17, three of which were “and ones.”

It stayed close early on in the game until Hudson pulled away before halftime. After halftime ended, the Explorers came out and ran right over the Tigers. Hudson led by 17 entering the final quarter of action. The Explorers held the lead from the end of the first quarter to the final buzzer.
