Believeland Media is looking to add a few writers/reporters to our staff for coverage of high school and college basketball in Northeast Ohio this winter. We are a growing media company covering high school & college sports in Northeast Ohio.
Past writing and/or game coverage experience is preferred but not a necessity. We can train you if it's something you are looking to get into doing for the first time. However, prior experience is required for College coverage. Interested individuals should have passion for and knowledge of the game of basketball and reliable transportation to and from games.
Responsibilities to include:
- covering games on site as a credentialed media member for Believeland Media
- conducting post game interviews with coaches and players
- writing game recaps on our site for each game covered
Games will be assigned to you for coverage within a reasonable distance of your home. Believeland Media will provide you with a media badge and company logo apparel. Compensation will also be provided for each game covered.
