Medina, Ohio - On Saturday night the girl’s Solon Comets were facing off against the Midview Middies. Both teams were trying to nmake it to the Final Four and compete for a OHSAA D1 State Championship.

To start the game off Mya DiFranco hit a mid-range jumper after Midview got an offensive board. The crowd was deafening, as both student sections were packed, and cheering after every basket or defensive stop.

Midview’s 6'5" Mary Meng denied a shot at the rim, where she barely even jumped to get the block. The score at the end of the first was 13-12 in favor of Solon. The game looked to be a nail-biter.
