The Nubians offense was off the a slow start but made a comeback in this quarter scoring 9 unanswered points off the backs of senior Preston Steele rallying his team.

Both teams went back and forth creating turnovers and capitalizing on them, but the momentum switched to the Wildcat's favor when Steele on the breakaway slammed the ball home. The score was tied 13-13 after one.

Coming out of halftime Saint Ignatius was looking to keep their lead, while the Nubians were looking to get some momentum going on their side.

The Nubians came out on fire with up two Dailyn Swain dunks and then a steal and finish from guard Laron Fuller, all while playing incredible defense and making the Wildcats feel the pressure as they put up 18 in this quarter.

Saint Ignatius defense wasn't able to do much to stop the Nubian offensive attack, but their offense was cooking just as well putting up 17 in the third keeping their lead alive at 47-44.

To start the fourth the Nubians' guard Fuller dropped in a three pointer to tie the game 47 but they still had to play strong on both sides of the ball if they wanted to come away with the win.

Saint Ignatius came firing right back as the Nubians collapsed and had a 9 point unanswered run led by Szczepaniak, who put up a three and a post finisher in less than a minute to take back their lead 56-47.

A valiant effort by senior Dailyn Swain, doing the most to keep his team in the game, but in the end it wasn't enough as the Wildcats' one-two punch of Szczepaniak and Damon Friery just wouldn't miss from the three point line as they outlasted the Nubians 68-60 and became the first away team to win on the day.
