Streetsboro Rockets dominate offensively winning big over the Field Falcons 64-44.

Streetsboro, OH - On Monday night the Streetsboro Lady Rockets hosted the Field Lady Falcons in a conference matchup.

Starting the game out hot for the Rockets guard was Sydney Abbuhl who hit a three pointer and forward Ella Kassan hit back to back shots from the mid-range taking a quick lead.

The Falcons in the first quarter looked lost, as their shots weren't sinking and all of the rebounds went to the Rockets center Naomi Benson. The Rockets were able to build a commanding lead ending the first at 12-4.

Entering the 2nd the Falcons looked rejuvenated and like a whole new team offensively as guard Delilah Rahe kept attacking the basket and making her shots count which helped the team put up 20 points in the second.

However Streetsboro was able to keep putting up points as Kassan kept hitting her shots and with help from Benson and Abbuhl, the Rockets were able to put up 19 points keeping their lead alive 31-24 entering halftime.

Coming out of halftime the Lady Rockets wanted to extend their lead, while the Lady Falcons were looking to make a comeback and stop the Rockets on defense, but only one of those things could happen.

Field started the third quarter, instantly hitting a three pointer by Maddie Jacobs which was the start of another good offensive quarter. Twins Abby and Ally Harlin were able to sink some of their shots helping the Falcons put up 13 points.

Unfortunately for the Lady Falcons, Streetsboro didn't slow down on offense as Benson was still grabbing most of the rebounds and Kassan was still making most of her shots. the Lady Rockets put up 15 points which extended their lead to 46-37 after three.

Needing something big in the fourth and final quarter, the Lady Falcons instantly attacked the basket putting up 5 points from Abby Harlin and Delilah Rahe, but unfortunately for the Lady Falcons the excitement was short lived as those were the final points Field would score in the game.

Streetsboro didn't take their foot off the gas, as Kassan and the rest of the team didn't look back for a second and just won the game big, 64-44.
