TALLMADGE, Ohio- Sydney Becks scored 22 points to help lead the Blue Devils to a triumphant 57-31 victory over the Kent Roosevelt Roughriders.
Arie Wilson was held to 11 points in what was expected to be her revenge tour game after last year's 29-26 loss.
The Blue Devils came out hot taking an early 10-4 lead after hitting back to back three balls. That would turn into 17-10 at the end of the first. Arie Wilson was held to just two points in the first while Sydney Becks scored nine for the Blue Devils.
Tallmadge continued to dominate Kent, only allowing five points in the second quarter and running out to a 24-10 lead. Tallmadge took a 31-15 lead into halftime. Sydney Becks led all scorers with 15 points.
Sydney Becks had a quiet third quarter allowing her teammates to do most of the work. Arie Wilson got her point total to eight at the end of the third. Tallmadge led 46-23 after three.
The Blue Devils came out of the gates hot in the final quarter of action pushing the lead out to 55-24 and never looked back. Tallmadge put an exclamation point on the 57-31 win over Kent.
Kent Roosevelt will host Twinsburg next Wednesday December 20th at 7 p.m.
Tallmadge will host Firestone next Wednesday December 20th at 7.pm.
