West Geauga Wolverines 2023 Football Season Preview

A down year saw the West Geauga Wolverines go 2-8 just one season after going 7-4 in 2021. The Wolverines open the season with two home games. Howell Field will play-host to the Chardon Hilltoppers in Week 1 and the Kenston Bombers in Week 2. A one-game road stint sends them to Aurora in Week 3 before returning to Howell Field against Madison. The Lakeside Dragons (Week 5) and Hawken Hawks (Week 6) await the visiting Wolverines for the first pair of Conference games of the season. The final four games are split evenly for the Wolverines. They enter Week 7 at home against Chagrin Falls before heading to Rocky River to face the Lutheran West Longhorns. Howell Field's final game of the regular season comes in Week 9 as the Perry Pirates journey to Chesterland. The regular season finale sends the Wolverines to Pepper Pike for the final conference game against the Orange Lions in Week 10.
