Before the game started between Windham and Lordstown the crowd went crazy when the starting lineups were announced.
To win the tip was Windham but they missed their first shot of the night. Lucas Churchill ran in transition for Windham after a steal and scored an easy layup. Jayden Weaver was able to score as well on a layup. Jack Eye got a nice feed into the left corner, and sunk in a 3-pointer. Churchill scored another layup, giving Windham a nine point lead. Eye later got another 3-pointer to fall increasing their early lead. Jayden Weaver scored a layup for the Red Devils which were the last points of the quarter. The Bombers were on top 18-4.
Churchill got a steal and an easy layup for the first points of the second quarter. Zack Turk got a nice pass inside to get another layup to fall for Windham. Churchill drove from the left corner to the paint, scoring an and-one in the process. Chase Eye picked off a pass, and scored a layup in transition. Churchill picked off another pass to score another layup increasing the Bomber lead to 23. They took a 38-14 lead into halftime.
To start the third quarter, Windham stole the ball, and ended up with free throws. Churchill ran in transition and scored a layup with ease, putting Windham up 32. Chase Eye scored an and-one off of an inbounds pass. He missed the free throw, but Windham got an offensive board leading to a Carlos Bruton triple. Cory Kibler for Lordstown also made an and-one, hitting his free throw. Weaver took a pullup triple from way outside and drained it. Windham held a big lead after three.
To start the final period, Chase Eye got an offensive board and a layup to put Windham up 40. Weaver was just putting up most of the shots for Lordstown. The clock kept running as Windham was up by more than 40 most of the final quarter, so this period seemed shorter than most. The final score was 68-23, Windham.
Lucas Churchill led the Bombers with 19 points.
