5 Superstars That Must Change Brands in WWE Draft

Updated: Sep 20, 2022

Over the last several weeks, rumors suggest WWE is planning to have their annual Draft shortly after the Clash of the Castle Premium Live Event on September 3rd. The last several months have seen the brand split almost non-existent, and we've seen some talent suffer from the lack of exposure. Here are five superstars that need to change brands once the Draft occurs.

AJ Styles- RAW to SmackDown

Styles thrives no matter the brand but occasionally you'll see him getting lost in the shuffle, and that's currently what's happening. By moving to Friday nights, Styles can get back to being the Phenomenal One by having some fantastic matches with Happy Corbin, Sami Zayn, and even challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship. Styles seems to have a ton of success when he's on Smackdown, and the show is lacking top babyfaces outside of Drew McIntyre. Adding him to that mix will give the blue brand a fresh feel and bring Styles back to the house he built.

Toxic Attraction- NXT to SmackDown

Toxic Attraction has dominated the NXT women's division for the past year. Mandy Rose has completely turned her career around once she joined NXT and has held the women's championship for almost 300 days. Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jane have went from newcomers to two-time Tag Team Champions and continue to be threats for the titles.

As fun as it is to see these ladies in NXT, the main roster NEEDS Toxic Attraction. Ideally, these three go to Smackdown and take over the women's division quickly. Mandy Rose vs Liv Morgan is a feud we've never seen, and it gives Liv another heel to go up against. The Women's Tag Team Title tournament has shown the tag division is lacking but will get an instant upgrade by adding Dolin and Jane into the fold. It's time for legitimate teams to capture these titles.

Shelton Benjamin- RAW to NXT

Benjamin has been forgotten since the Hurt Business came to an end, and it's really a shame. Benjamin is one of the most underrated wrestlers on the roster and giving him a stint in NXT could do wonders for him. We've seen Mandy Rose and Dolph Ziggler revive their careers by going back to NXT and winning titles and that can happen with Benjamin. The matches that he could have with guys like Carmelo Hayes and Giovanni Vinci would tear the house down.

Raquel Rodriguez- SmackDown to RAW

Raquel Rodriguez oozes potential on the main roster and has shown that potential since her SmackDown debut. She's had a few great matches against Ronda Rousey and seemed to be getting a push right from the get go. Now, she's paired with Aliyah in the Women's Tag Team Title tournament. Moving Rodriquez to the red brand would give her a fresh start and Bianca Belair or Bayley a new challenger. It would be fun to see Rodriquez come and help Belair against her former partner in Dakota Kai as well.

Bron Breakker- NXT to RAW

Bron Breakker has been the flag bearer of NXT 2.0 and has nothing left to accomplish down there. The second generation star would fit in nicely on RAW and would have a plethora of opportunities to become a top guy for the red brand. It'd be entertaining as hell to have him accept one of Bobby Lashley's U.S. Title open challenges and maybe even capture the gold on his first night. Potential feuds with Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens or Ciampa would help establish him as a future cornerstone for the company.
