The Hillcats sit at 7-8 in 3rd place in the Carolina League North Division. They have rattled off four wins in a row averaging 14 runs per game in that span. Lake County Captains (High A)
The Captains are off to a 7-8 start. They currently sit in third place in the Midwest League East Division. They won their last two games at Great Lakes to split the 6-game series. Jhonkensy Noel has gotten hot hitting three HR's in the last two games. Guardians 2021 top pick Gavin Williams had another solid start touching triple digits once again. Akron Rubberducks (AA)
Common theme...like Lynchburg and Lake County the Rubberducks are also off to a 7-8 start. They are in 5th place in the Eastern league Southwest Division. After losing four straight Akron has won the last two. While scoring runs has been an issue for Akron early this season, the pitching has been fun to watch especially Daniel Espino, Logan T. The Clippers are off to a good start at 12-6 which is good for 2nd place in the International League West Division. They lead their division with 106 runs scored to this point. After winning 9 straight they dropped three of the last five games at Indianapolis. Power has been driving the Clippers offense as they have hit 27 HR's good for 3rd in the league.
