Lynchburg Hillcats (Low A)
The Hillcats split the 6-game series with Columbia winning every other game. The split puts them at 24-20 on the season in 2nd place in the Carolina League North Division. They are batting .247 as a team good for 4th in the league and 4th in doubles with 69. The pitching continues to be solid with a 4th ranked team ERA of 3.78 and tied for 3rd in strikeouts with 483.

It was a great week for Lake County as they took 5 of 6 at Peoria moving them to 23-21 in 3rd place in the Midwest League East. The Captains are last in the league in hitting with a .209 average and 11th with 165 runs scored. Pitching is their strength as their 3.56 ERA ranks 2nd and 142 earned runs allowed also ranks 2nd.

The Ducks continue to play solid ball taking 4 of 6 from New Hampshire and have won 16 of their last 21 games. They still sit in first place in the Eastern League Southwest Division at 27-18. Akron sits 9th in batting with a .230 average and 7th in runs scored with 210. Their team ERA of 3.86 ranks 4th and they continue to lead the league in strikeouts with 528 in 396.1 innings.

Columbus went 1-5 vs Buffalo this week before beating Toledo 9-1 on Memorial Day. They are now 29-20 and in 2nd place in the International League West Division. Their .243 team average ranks 13th and they are 3rd in homeruns with 63. Pitching wise they are 4th in ERA at 3.97 and ranked 5th with a 1.33 WHIP.
